Yoke of mathematics

MATHEMATICS ! Something I have literally hated and let me tell you me and maths have always been true enemies. I m pretty sure many of you can relate to this . It's not like that that I didn't tried , but no matter how hard I tried it has never been my thing and can't even be . But after lots of practice and hardworking I can finally say that yeah I am good at maths and also I can say that I still don't like it;). How many of you like maths?  Hey ! Everyone this post is not about how much I hate maths or about my views on maths rather it is about the yoke of mathematics ,something that no one wants to recall . So let's get started .

The central board of secondary education of India tells us: Maths is one of the central pillars of our educational system . Students tell: they invented this stuff  only to oppress an torture us in the classroom. Mathematics teachers tell the students and everybody else that maths is the most important achievement of human race. Students think that they can't find any trace of this stuff in their minds . The influence of mathematics on the development of the human civilization in the 21st century is so overwhelming that it seems frightening . In schools , teachers have to achieve structural thinking, the ability for abstraction , logical thinking, induction , infinitesimal approach and so on . Students think that the government conspires against us to stuff our brain with the facts ,definition ,rules and formulae ,equation until there is no place for anything else. 
What is the output of this harmonic cooperation ? The results look like a car mechanic who test on the way of fixing something every available tool of his toolbox - at every step all over again. One of those damn formula and rules must fix it.
Why students have to learn a subject like a mathematics that has no connection to human experience ? I am sure after these extensive critics you are anxious how the answer looks like , but you know the answer already!  Maths is divine but a dead tool too. Only in the hands of a creative master it becomes an instrument of creation . Abstraction doesn't count at this place . Only the, "how to use". The more and various practical real life examples you solve , the most experience you get to select and repeat the calculation in case a similar problem turns up in your life. If you continue this way long enough you will surely become a creative master and will be able to solve incredible difficult problems . You will soon be capable to see your own progress and that would give you true happiness and you will love yourself and be proud of your hard work .Gradually you will found solutions nobody has found before like Newton or Einstein ,or invent new form of maths the modified form, more advanced than earlier like Schroedinger . Planning , imagination ,experience , determination and special knowledge can be achieved only by real life problems . You have to hold a lot of experiences and practical knowledge of the material to do this. There is the undisputable god like status of mathematics . Timeless rules made for eternity and infinity , only structure with no content, meaning or life , only pure abstraction.  It delivers flawlessness , perfection and divinity. A heretic is who revolt against the laws of the god . Yes , sounds like mamas never ending complains in case of the report card from school when it is not up to the mark .

Yes , it's a long tedious road , bht a road into the open sky where you can fly freely and limitlessly. 

Seek adventure while travelling

Hey! Everyone . This part is not the detailed version about travelling it's just a kind of introduction , if you like it drop a comment so that I can post more of this in the second part .You all must have travelled at least for once in your life or even more , that depends. Travelling has always been the best way to refresh one's mind from the hectic schedule of people in the cities. Everybody in the cities are busy from day to night the hours past by ,we found ourselves doing some kind of work. Now , the people follow this routine every single day except the weekend , so it becomes a must to get off from work for some days and from such kind of routine for at least once a year. We all crave for holidays !

I think there is nothing more knowledgeable than travelling as you get to experience different places, cultures,languages and food. And when travelling with friend for short trips than I advice it should be spontaneous coz spontaneous is real fun. Planning takes the fun out of travel. Travelling takes you out of your comfort zone and your mundane routine. There is excitement and inspiration around every corner. Travel or holiday isn't just about luxury and comfort ; it's doing something different , breaking away from the mundane.
Travel was an integral part of my growing up. Every year I look forward to my school's summer break when I  would go for long trips with my family bad spend quality time exploring and wandering or relaxing etc. When it comes to me , I would like to share that ever since I was about of a year or less i.e I was of 8 months old I guess, ;actually I don't remember , nobody does , I have been hearing stories from my mother especially of tours with them so yeah I do remember a few travel tales. And also I remember it by glancing the memories captured in the cell phone or photographs.

I m quite sure each one whoever is reading this must have sweet memories of travelling , whats your earliest memories ? Mine is riding a yak with my father at the hills of himachal pradesh ;it was extreme cold that time of the year when we were enjoying at the snowy mountains of Himalayans states.
Travel is a great teacher . It makes you respect why people do certain things the way they do. It makes you aware and develops a whole new perspective on life. I have learnt a lot about myself as a person and it has really helped me answer some of my biggest unresolved questions. It has taught me that it's very easy to get wrapped up in your own little world and your mundane routine . It's important to see the world. You don't live life by watching TV or partying or working 9-5. For people or someone like me who is used to living in cities , travel is a way to discover more about the lives of unpretentious and ordinary people . Travel makes me appreciate the things I may not value otherwise.
Once you are out , you need to be mentally prepared for a lot of things . You have to deal with a situation as it comes. Even after reaching the destination, the journey doesn't end. You take the experience forward with you. I am a very curious person . Everytime I see anything different or new I come up with hundreds of question in my mind. I am adventurous , I seek for adventure yet I like to be comfortable. I love you going to random places , I like wandering in the streets of any place finding some tasty ,special food of that particular city . I am someone who enjoys simple things like watching people doing their jobs or talking to their loved ones or going to their office etc. while sitting in a coffee shop .Sometimes  It's good to be present in the moment rather than being a photographer , trying to capture every memory. I also like to just walk around without knowing where my deets are taking me. Exploring local areas, strolling around the beaches . I take time out to explore areas.

Indian spices

   Know something interesting about spices. And know the powers of spices, as we all already know very well what role they play in our lives .  

India without spices cannot be imagined . Every indian has known the taste of spicy food ever since they were kids. Indians love spicy food , no matter which cuisine the food belongs to ,we all like having a fun experiment with it by adding some spices to it if we cook it at home (especially in my case) .Have you ever imagined how our food would taste without spices ? Imagining rajma chawal without spices would be horrible . Lets take simple dal without tadka and all that mothers put in it , how would it taste? Have you ever thought of it ?

But at the same time some prefer less oily , less spicy and a healthy diet and are very conscious about their health  , but it's okay everyone has their own taste . What do you prefer ? 

Let's throw some light on the history of spices , let's know where it all came from , the most essential part of food in our lives .

So , between the 1500s and 1700s,the spice route described a lengthy journey where spices were taken for trade from Asia to Europe in ships, caravans , and on elephant back. The world's most significant industry in ancient times,the spice trade defined commerce, provided remedies for ailments,and even influenced worldwide culinary tradition and cuisine. 

Spices were historically considered as important possessions of the royalty. Kings in the past held a region ransom to gain ownership of spices they deemed to be precious. Rome,under siege in 410 AD ,was released upon payment of 3000 pounds of Pepper. Jewelers of India created delicate, miniature caskets with silver and gold to serve as Cardamom containers for the noblemen of the royal courts in Delhi and Agra.

Spices also have a special place in Ayurveda , an ancient Indian system of medicine practiced for over 5000 years. For example, Turmeric exhibits natural , antiseptic properties , Ginger aids in digestion and Cumin alleviates nausea.

Lets know some more about spices in detail; 

1. BLACK PEPPER: this one is my favorite; black pepper powder adds flavor to any food in which it is added. It is also known as "The King of Spices", Black pepper was used as a sacred offering in ancient times and is a popular ingredient in cuisines across the globe. This potent spice increases the bioavailability of other medicinal ingredients when present in a formulation and is an effective throat decongestant . 

2. CINNANMON : Cinnamon sticks add flavor to popular dishes worldwide, including savory and sweet preparations. Chewing Cinnamon is the perfect breath freshener. The spice modulates immunity to fight allergies and infection, while it's hypoglycemic and lipid-modifying properties help to manage diabetes and body weight. 

3. CUMIN:it has a strong ,Smoky fragrance ,adding flavour to Mexican cuisine as well as curry powders. The spice helps to balance stomach secretions, alleviating discomfort due to hyperacidity and indigestion . Studies have revealed that the chemoprotective effects of cumin can play a role in preventing stomach tumors.

4. CLOVE: In ancient times, cloves  heavy fragrance was the prize that wars were fought over.With its local anaesthetic affect the spice is an effective emergency cure for a toothache, clove oil and the anti-inflammatory property improves blood circulation to quickly relieve pain.

5. TURMERIC: pungent, earthy and fragrant ,turmeric," the golden spice "'is a celebrity in the Spice World. turmeric adds a distinct yellow due to dishes and has a potent anti allergic property which helps fight respiratory ,skin and digestive system allergies.

6. CARDAMOM: cardamom," the queen of spices", has a unique flavour,and is rich in oil content.spice increases appetite and relieves heartburn ,indigestion, and flatulence.Cardamom has an anthelmintic property which helps fight parasitic worm infestation.

The power of social media

  The power of social media lies in it's functions as it can be illustrated by realizing it's political power. It holds a lot of significance in today's worlds as compared to earlier times . The highly sophisticated commercialized media knows how to impact the human psyche. Gone are the days when people used their recreational time by cycling , playing , discovering , enjoying , laughing all around with friends and other such pursuits ! 
Nowadays! Social media has become a place for people to share their ideas and experience. If we focus some light and try really hard to realize and remember we will know that social media and the main idea of socializing was to bring people closer and connect them who are far away from their homes of friends or family , but the reality is just the vice versa ; people are simply disconnecting with their family by just being busy on social media . 

If we think of social media the very first thing that strikes our mind is entertainment , something fun ! To string up the power of this plot in our lives is immense , it's not only a source of entertainment but also helps in making us form our opinions on major issues of social importance.
              It has a portal role in exposing corruption and creating public awareness against social evils and other unhealthy practices in the society . It can make political careers . When it comes to imprint media it is as factual as that of the current happenings .
Moreover, socializing is a revolution driven by people and enabled by the social media. 
No doubt it has facilitate the communication and provided access to plenty of different sources , exaggerating with these communicational way can bring in a series of negative consequences aggravate proportionally with the excessive use of social networking sites. Technology has many many different forms including blog, business ,networks , enterprises and virtual world's. This revolution had led to the rise of the networking sites. This has increased because of the smart phones that are now in the daily lives of most humans . 
Even some sites have potential for content that is posted their to spread virally over social networks . This is an analogy type of viral infectious disease in biology. 

Social media becomes effective through a process called "building social authority". They can incorporate a range of new information and communication tools. Hereby, we can undoubtedly demonstrate that social media is as integral as if the world would be kith then the social media is it's kin. 

शिक्षा शक़्ति

शिक्षा सबसे महत्वपूर्ण तंत्र है, जो व्यक्ति के जीवन के साथ ही देश के विकास में भी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाती है। आजकल, यह किसी भी समाज की नई पीढ़ी के उज्ज्वल भविष्य के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण कारक बन गयी है। शिक्षा के महत्व को ध्यान में रखते हुए, सरकार के द्वारा 5 साल से 15 साल तक की आयु वाले सभी बच्चों के लिए शिक्षा को अनिवार्य कर दिया गया है। शिक्षा सभी के जीवन को सकारात्मक तरीके से प्रभावित करती है और हमें जीवन की सभी छोटी और बड़ी समस्याओं का समाना करना सिखाती है। समाज में सभी के लिए शिक्षा की ओर इतने बड़े स्तर पर जागरुक करने के बाद भी, देश के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में शिक्षा का प्रतिशत अभी भी समान है।

पिछड़े क्षेत्रों में रहने वाले लोगों के लिए अच्छी शिक्षा के उचित लाभ प्राप्त नहीं हो रहे हैं क्योंकि उनके पास धन और अन्य साधनों की कमी है। यद्यपि, इन क्षेत्रों में इस समस्या को सुलझाने के लिए सरकार द्वारा कुछ नई और प्रभावी रणनीतियों की योजना बनाकर लागू किया गया है। शिक्षा ने मानसिक स्थिति को सुधारा है और लोगों के सोचने के तरीके को बदला है। यह आगे बढ़ने और सफलता और अनुभव प्राप्त करने के लिए आत्मविश्वास लाती है और सोच को कार्य रुप में बदलती है। बिना शिक्षा के जीवन लक्ष्य रहित और कठिन हो जाता है। इसलिए हमें शिक्षा के महत्व और दैनिक जीवन में इसकी आवश्यकता को समझना चाहिए। हमें पिछड़े क्षेत्रों में लोगों को शिक्षा के महत्व को बताकर, इसे प्रोत्साहन देना चाहिए। विकलांग और गरीब व्यक्तियों को भी अमीर और सामान्य व्यक्तियों की तरह वैश्विक विकास प्राप्त करने के लिए, शिक्षा की समान आवश्यकता है और उन्हें समान अधिकार

भी प्राप्त है। हम में से सभी को उच्च स्तर पर शिक्षित होने के लिए अपने सबसे अच्छे प्रयासों को करने के साथ ही सभी की शिक्षा तक पहुँच को संभव बनाना चाहिए जिसमें सभी गरीब और विकलांग व्यक्ति वैश्विक आधार पर भाग ले सकें। कुछ लोग ज्ञान और कौशल की कमी के कारण पूरी तरह से अशिक्षित रहकर बहुत दर्दनाक जीवन जीते हैं। कुछ लोग शिक्षित होते हैं लेकिन पिछड़े इलाकों में उचित शिक्षा प्रणाली के अभाव के कारण अपने दैनिक कार्यों के लिए धन जोड़ने में भी पर्याप्त कुशल नहीं होते। इस प्रकार, हमें सभी के लिए अच्छी शिक्षा प्रणाली को प्राप्त करने के समान अवसर देने की कोशिश करनी चाहिए, चाहे वो गरीब हो या अमीर। एक देश, नागरिकों के वैयक्तिक विकास और वृद्धि के बिना विकसित नही हो सकता। इस प्रकार, एक देश का व्यापक विकास उस में देश में नागरिकों के लिए उपलब्ध प्रचलित शिक्षा प्रणाली पर निर्भर करता है। देश में हर क्षेत्र में नागरिकों के लिए अच्छी और उचित शिक्षा प्रणाली को उपलब्ध कराए जाने के सामान्य लक्ष्य को निर्धारित किया जाना चाहिए और शिक्षा प्राप्ति के रास्ते को सुगम व सुलभ्य बनाए जाने की कोशिश की जानी चाहिए। इस तरह देश अपने चहुँमुखी विकास की ओर अग्रसर होगा।

The little sacrifice

This is a story about a sacrifice , this story is about a small girl and their family.......
Here begins the story ,
"Where is our sister?"- the cry went up among us, who were her old sisters and brothers on the morning after the little one was  discovered missing. So,there were a large farm family ,and their farm was not very prosperous , and so the children were obliged to share rooms and beds; but the youngest sister still slept alone in a corner of their parents' bedroon . "Oh, where is she? My daughter,my baby? Wdho has taken her from us ?" So our distraught mother cried,for momma knew that the little one would not have wandered off by hherself, but must have been abducted ,but no one knew the real truth expect momma.
All that day they searched for their little sister, days passed by and then all that week and that month and year they would search for her and never would abandon their search for her,for the remainder of their troubled lives.Had cruel fairies carried her off into the Underworld? Had a wild beast made its way through and open window as they slept, and borne her away into the woods ,in his jaw? Or had the little girl simply vanished, as dew sparkling like gems will vanish on the grass with the rising of the sun, transformimg the comfort of night to the starkness of day .
In fact , their sister had been abducted by fairies. But with Father's consent in exchange for their sister ,the fairies promised father an abundant harvest,after several years of drought. Only later would this fact be revealed , when we were grown and gone from home and scattered to the corners of the earth ; and yet remembered vividly their lil sis as she 'd been on the eve of her diapperance : a delicately boned child of four,with a small face ,blue eyes ,pale silvery blond hair of unusual fineness. We would learn that our sister had not been taken to the underworld ,for her fate was more mysterious, and yet more cruel. The fairies bartered her to a wealthy noble family who lived on a great estate in our village, their accident name synonymous with high rank and devout religious belief and the solemn responsibilities of such.
"Mumma! ,Help me ! " Their little sister woke to find herself gagged nad wrapped in a blanket hoisted aloft by fairies whose faces she was never to see. At first, it seemed that the girl was carried up a steep embankment ; and then she was carried to the earth ,to be freed in a dungeon below the nobleman's great estate. She would be given just enough food and drink to sustain her , and just enough candlelight for her to see dimly , as undersea creatures with their rudimentary eyes. At the outset of her confinement she wept and called her mother , she wept and pleaded with her invisible captors to release her, but her captors were but servants of the noble family , and dared pay her no attention. And so the child might have been plaeading with the blank granite face of the mountain ,As with such individuals.
It is said the the family themselves came to glimpse their sister , only a few times. It is said that they were led by a priest, appointed to over see the noble family's private chapel within the high walls of the estate. To serve as a priest in such priviledged quaters is a position of great esteem, and the priest was conscious of his wirth in assuring the family that the "little sacrifice" - for so the girl was known to them,lacking any other name- was safely confined and suffering no pain. The priest advised his patrons " she is a peasant child and lacks the sensitivity of our kind. She is changed. She will lap up water like a dog . She eats greedily .She no longer walks in the confined space , but she can crawl if she wishes. She has grown dull with time . She has ceased crying for her mother . She has ceased pleading to be released. Like the others before her she will forget ,in time, the world beyond her dungeon that is now her home .
In this way the noble family was assured that the little sacrifice was a success.
"She is our measure of what god will allow. Without her how could we gauge the wikedness of uor heart. And i our hearts,hearts of mankind . How could we gauge our own fortune , blessed bu god?  "
These were god fearning folk. Except for their single aberration . They were upstanding human beings. You would be excited and flattered by their good opinion of u , as most casual nod of the head , a warm greeting from such aritocrats in your direction. Sometimes they are found attending church services in the village . They are seated in very front and never fail to rise fir communion . They are known to tithe their income and to give directly to poor. They are never without smiles . Besides in the church, the grieving , broken parents and family of the lilttle sacrifice , they are especially kind, missing their child.

"Education is a means , not an end "

Success and failure are two faces of a coin. We can never think to succeed or prosper ever in life,unless we accept these facts in our lives. A human's life , whether it is the life of a common man or of a superman, is always filled with several instances of success and failure. Society has gives the world many famous and not so famous people through the ages who have hit tough situations in life and overcome them , and most of the successful people of the world have grown and outshine their talent after facing failure. Especially, examples of the people who have dropped colleges or failed in school are admirable , they have understood the real meaning of success and have finally achieved by not running after degree. Education is not just about 
Today, education has simply become "a custom ", "a tradition" ,"an end "and not a" means ". How do we achieve it, what processes we follow to attain it, is not our main concern. Our main and only concern is to see the end result, that is , how much marks or what grade our children score . No sooner a child is born than we star dreaming and thinking about their future .The basic questions that revolve around their future are : how can he get admitted to the best school? how can our child be the topper ? how can he be a "successful" person in life ? But the question arises,what do we mean by being "successful". By "successful" we simply mean "money" and only "money". Money becomes the paradigm to evaluate the success of a person.                                                 

We often forget what is of utmost importance - the most important gift we can give to our children is to educate them the real meaning of education , but what we actually do is expect them to be the toppers of their classes. Parent's want their student's to perform well and for this they could give them all the resources , all the facilities , all that a child needs or desires , but at the same time have you ever cared about what the child dreams for,what things he wants to learn before starting for the run in the race for success'.  Before going into the detailed of understanding the essence of "education". I would like to highlight a real life story and experience of a person whom i personally  know very well.
"I have known him since a long time .He is not an engineer , not any highly qualified man but a real hardworking , dedicated , determined , sincere and committed worker. He does not have any degree or higher education , yet he has all the knowledge and shill about "machines". He is so well versed with these knowledge that repairing  any machine is a child's play for him .So,here we see how a degree is not the only factor that matters, what matters is "knowledge".
Let us take one more example of 'Japan' unlike 'India' where every second person is busy managing , collecting and getting degree or qualification, children in 'Japan' are busy handling all types of machines. Machines are their passions , their life ,while in India we are under control and surrounded by machines without completely having the knowledge of how to operate them . Creativity level in India is much higher then in any other country and Indians  would have been known for their creativity only if we were free to experiment and create but the fact is we are all busy in scoring good marks . What Japanese children could do, many highly qualified engineers in India find it difficult to handle.
                              Education is not solely about earning a great life, its about living a great life .  'We need education' only to be successful , only consider it as a means to earn money. We never consider it as a 'means' to gain knowledge as a 'means' to learn something . The day we understand the true meaning of 'education' and regard it as a synonym of 'knowledge' and 'learning', that day we would in real sense be a truly successful person. We should portray our future in a way we find it valuable , simply the trick is to gain knowledge there's nothing without it , we can never find success by running after it.And the lesson i have always taught and learned from bitter experiences is that : No matter what happens , always be yourself , think positive and cherish your day !
